How to Make Keto Turkey Meatloaf {Quick Overview}

Preheat oven to temperature on recipe card (at the end of the post) and add all ingredients to a large bowl. (Photo 1)

Combine all ingredients thoroughly, being careful not to overmix. (Photo 2)

Line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper or foil. Transfer the meatloaf mixture onto the sheet and shape it into an 8” x 4” loaf of even thickness. (Photo 3)

Bake for 35 minutes. (Photo 4)

Remove the meatloaf from the oven and brush on the topping. (Photo 5)

Return it to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until a meat thermometer shows that the internal temperature has reached at least 165 F. If needed, continue baking in 5-minute increments until the desired temperature is reached.

Optional: For a crispier outside, broil the meatloaf for 1 minute.

Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs 93% lean ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion finely chopped
  • 1 large celery stalk finely chopped (feel free to omit if you don’t care for celery)
  • 1 large egg whisked
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar-free ketchup
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Topping

  • 1/4 cup sugar-free ketchup
  • Optional: 1-2 tbsp Swerve Brown

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • In a large bowl, thoroughly combine all ingredients. Do not overmix.
  • Onto a rimmed baking pan lined with parchment paper or foil, add meatloaf mixture and form into an 8” x 4” loaf shape of even thickness.
  • Bake for 35 minutes.
  • Remove meatloaf from oven, brush on topping, return to oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, until meat thermometer shows that the internal temperature has reached at least 165 F. If it hasn’t, return to the oven for 5-minute increments.
  • Optionally broil meatloaf for 1 minute for a crispier outside.
