You can’t go wrong with brownies, especially these brownies! If you’re craving a sweet and low carb treat, you have to make this recipe.
Why You’ll Love These Keto Brownies
- They contain only 1g net carbs per brownie. It doesn’t get much better than that!
- They use Dutch process cocoa powder for the ultimate chocolate flavor. You can use regular cocoa powder if it’s all you have, but trust me, Dutch process cocoa powder makes all the difference!
- They also use coconut flour instead of almond flour to give them a denser, fudgier texture. If your favorite brownie type is fudgy (vs. chewy or cakey), you’re going to really love these brownies!
- They’re perfect on their own, or they can be paired with your favorite brownie pairing, like homemade whipped cream or (keto) ice cream.

How to Make Keto Brownies {Quick Overview}
This is just a quick overview of some of the steps involved in making the low carb brownies. For the recipe in detail, including exact measurements used at each step, scroll to the recipe card at the end of the post.
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, coconut flour, Swerve Granular, baking powder, heavy whipping cream, vanilla, and salt together.
Next, add one egg at a time, mixing in each egg thoroughly.
Add Dutch process cocoa powder and combine thoroughly.
Into an 8″ x 8″ baking dish lined with parchment paper, add the brownie batter. It will be sticky, but smooth it out the best you can.
⭐ Don’t skip the parchment paper! This makes it so easy to pull the brownies out, and you won’t even have to wash your baking dish.
Bake, then let your brownie cool fully.
⭐ Your brownie will still be somewhat gooey in the middle when you pull it out of the oven. It will continue to cook outside of the oven and will firm up considerably as it cools, as you can see below. If you leave it in the oven until it is firm throughout, it will be overbaked and dry.
When your brownie is cool, cut into pieces and enjoy!
