If you can find it, Rao’s Pizza Sauce is the best sauce for this recipe! It is available in many grocery stores in the U.S. 

If you can’t find it, any lower-carb pizza sauce will suffice. Check the labels and go for the lowest-carb option – as a comparison, Rao’s contains 3g net carbs per 1/4 cup.

Ingredients

Chicken Crust:

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup Rao’s pizza sauce or other low-carb pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh Mozzarella slices
  • 2 tbsp shredded Fontina cheese or Parmesan cheese
  • optional: fresh basil, red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 F.

To Make Chicken Crust:

  • Combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, Mozzarella, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Mix until well-combined.
  • Transfer mixture to a piece of parchment paper. Top with another piece of parchment paper and flatten mixture to a 1/4-inch thick circle, using a rolling pin. Remove top piece of parchment and discard. Place parchment with chicken mixture onto a baking sheet. Bake at 425 F for 20 minutes.

To Add Toppings:

  • Top baked Chicken Crust with pizza sauce and cheeses. Return to oven and bake an additional 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melty and crust is golden.
  • Top with fresh basil and red pepper flakes, if desired.

Notes

  • Look for a pizza sauce with 3g net carbs per 1/4 cup, or less.

    • Hi Bj! I apologize for the confusion – this is a 3-cheese pizza (2 types of Mozzarella and Fontina or Parmesan) that uses keto chicken crust. I don’t have any other keto pizza crust recipes on my site, but you can check Google for other types. You can use another type of crust with the toppings listed in the recipe card to make 3-cheese pizza. Enjoy! 🙂
