Why You’ll Love Keto Spinach Artichoke Dip

  • It’s super easy to make. Spinach Artichoke Dip is one of my favorite dips to make because it’s simple and requires minimal effort. Plus it’s packed with vegetables, so it’s a health food too, right?! 😉
  • It’s a naturally low carb recipe. That means you don’t have to make any modifications to the dip itself to make it low carb (just the dippers!).
  • Packed with cheesy goodness and savory flavors, it’s a party hit every time. Whenever I serve this at parties or gatherings, it goes fast. It’s great to put on your football game day foods menu, your Thanksgiving menu, and your Christmas foods menu!

Ingredients Needed to Make Low Carb Spinach Artichoke Dip

Ingredient quantities for this homemade spinach artichoke dip recipe are located in the recipe card at the end of the post.

  • Cream cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Garlic
  • Shredded parmesan cheese (from a block)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (from a block)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Canned artichoke hearts
  • Frozen chopped spinach

🧀 IMPORTANT CHEESE TIP: Pre-shredded cheese contains anti-caking agents, which means the cheese won’t melt as easily. You can still use pre-shredded, but I highly recommend shredding your own from block cheese.

How to Make Keto Spinach Artichoke Dip {Quick Overview}

This is just a quick overview of some of the steps involved in making recipe. For the recipe in detail, including exact measurements used at each step, scroll to the recipe card at the end of the post.

Preheat your oven to the temperature listed on the recipe card (located at the end of the post).

To a mixing bowl, add cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, parmesan, mozzarella, salt, and pepper.

🌟 TIP: As noted above, for the best dip texture, use cheese that you’ve shredded yourself.

Mix it all together until it’s nice and smooth, like this:

Toss in the chopped artichoke hearts and spinach…

🌟 TIP: Make sure you’ve roughly chopped the artichokes and the spinach is thawed and drained! I like to give the spinach a little squeeze, too, to get out any excess moisture.

… and mix again to make sure everything is evenly blended.

Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.

🌟 TIP: I used a 7.5” x 5.5” dish, but anything up to 8” x 8” works fine.

Pop it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

🌟 TIP: If you want, you can give it a quick stir, sprinkle some extra parmesan on top, and bake for another 3-5 minutes for an extra-cheesy topping.
