How to Make These Easy Low Carb Crackers {Quick Overview}
This is just a quick overview of some of the steps involved in making the keto 2-seed crackers. For the recipe in detail, including exact measurements used at each step, scroll to the recipe card at the end of the post.
Combine all dry ingredients in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, combine olive oil and water. Add wet ingredients to dry and mix thoroughly until a dough forms.
TIP: If mixture doesn’t stick together, add a few drops of water at a time.
Place the dough on a sheet of parchment paper. Place another sheet of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out as evenly as possible. Then remove the top sheet of parchment paper…
… and cut into crackers.
TIP: The way you cut these crackers will depend on how you want to measure your servings. See the “How Many Keto Crackers are in a Serving?” section below.
Then bake!
TIP: The crackers around the edge will bake faster, so you can remove the crackers that are done and place the remaining crackers back into the oven.
After the crackers are fully baked, let them cool before separating them and serving. Enjoy!
Why Are There Hemp Seeds and Flax Seeds in These Low Carb Crackers?
There are keto crackers recipes out there made only with almond flour, an egg, olive oil (sometimes), and water. I’ve made them, and they’re okay. Well, when you’re desperate for crackers on keto, they’re more than okay. 😉
But, when I added hemp seeds and flax seeds (in the form of flaxseed meal) to the recipe, the additions took the recipe to a whole new level. The seeds give the crackers extra crunch and flavor, and I haven’t gone back to the “boring” keto crackers recipe ever since! I think you’ll love them too.
How Many Crackers are in a Serving?
It depends on the size/thickness, and it also depends on how you’d like to measure your servings.
Method #1, By Total Weight: The most accurate way to measure servings is total weight. This also makes it easier when rolling out and cutting your crackers – you don’t have to stress about making them perfect because you’ll simply weigh all of the finished crackers and divide the total weight by four. This is what I did for the photos in this post.
Method #2, By Number of Crackers: If you roll the dough into a 9″x9″ square and cut each cracker into a 1″ x 1″ square, you’ll get 81 crackers. (Of course, you can also do other variations of this size.)
What Can I Serve With My Keto Crackers?
You can serve your crackers with a variety of meats and cheeses. You can also dip your crackers into:
- Keto Hummus
- Keto Party Dip
- Keto Bacon Ranch Dressing
- Guacamole
- Any of the keto dips listed here

Wonderful recipes on your site. The crackers were easy to make.
Can I sub hemp hearts for hemp seeds. Maybe blitz everything (dry) in a food processor first?
Hi Rita! Yes, you can substitute hemp hearts without changing anything else in the recipe/instructions. Enjoy!
How do you store these? Do they have to be refrigerated?
Also how long do they last?
Hi Cherokee! After they cool completely, they can be stored in an airtight container on the counter for up to five days. If you put them in the fridge (in an airtight container), they will last two weeks. Enjoy!
Great recipe, keep up the good work! We dipped these crackers in your jalapeno dip.
