  • Garlic powder
  • Fresh minced parsley (optional)
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Low carb hot dog buns – this is the amazing ingredient that makes this recipe possible!

🍞 INGREDIENT TIP: I usually use Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Hot Dog Buns (2g net carbs per bun), found at many grocery stores. There are many other low carb hot dog brands out there, so see what your grocery store carries. The carb count can vary, so be sure to pay attention to the nutrition label!

Place your split hot dog buns on a non-stick baking sheet. Spread the garlic butter goodness onto the buns, then sprinkle on the rest of the parmesan cheese.

Pop them in the oven and bake for 7-10 minutes until the bread is golden brown on the edges.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup salted butter softened
  • 2 cloves garlic minced (OR 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder or to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh minced parsley optional
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese divided
  • 3 low carb hot dog buns split in half

Instructions

  • Create garlic butter from butter, garlic, 2 tbsp parmesan cheese and parsley (optional). Spread butter on hot dog buns. Sprinkle with remaining grated parmesan.
  • Heat oven to 400 F
