How to Make Broccoli Steak Stir Fry {Quick Overview}
Below you will find the brief overview of the recipe process. For the recipe in detail, including exact measurements used at each step, scroll to the recipe card at the end of the post.
Season the beef with baking powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, and toss in the seasoned beef. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring a few times, until the beef is fully cooked (use a food thermometer to check that it’s hit at least 145°F).
Once done, transfer the beef to a large dish and set it aside.
Add the remaining 1 tbsp of olive oil to the skillet, then throw in the broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrot. Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring now and then, until the veggies are tender-crisp. Move them to the same dish as the beef and set aside.
Now it’s time to make the sauce! In a small bowl, pour in the beef broth and sprinkle in the gelatin. Let it sit for about two minutes to bloom.
Lower the stovetop heat to medium and add the soy sauce, garlic, Swerve Granular, ginger, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar to the skillet. Bring it to a simmer.
Stir in the beef broth/gelatin mixture and let it simmer for another two minutes until the sauce thickens a bit.
Add the cooked veggies and beef back to the skillet, stirring until everything’s heated through.
Take it off the heat, plate it up, and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds. If you like, serve it over some cooked cauliflower rice. Enjoy!
