Ingredients
Butter-Toasted Pecans
1/2cupraw pecan halves
1/2tbspsalted butter
Swerve Confectioners to taste
Trail Mix
Butter-toasted pecansfrom above
1/2cupLily's chocolate chipsmilk, dark, or white, or a combination
1/2cupsalted macadamia nuts
1/2cupshredded unsweetened coconut flakes
Instructions
Butter-Toasted Pecans
In a microwave-safe dish, melt butter in microwave for 15-20 seconds on high. When melted, add Swerve to taste and mix.
Add pecans to the mixture and mix to coat.
Add pecans to a skillet over medium heat.
Toast pecans for 2-5 minutes until they brown and become fragrant, stirring occasionally. (Note: If you use a lot of Swerve, the mixture in the pan may begin to smoke a bit. This is okay; just watch to make sure the pecans don’t burn.)
When the pecans are done, set them aside in a large bowl to cool.
Trail Mix
Combine all Trail Mix ingredients in a large bowl, then portion servings into individual Ziploc bags.
