If desired, cover chicken breasts with plastic wrap and use a meat mallet, rolling pin, or the back of a skillet to pound the breasts into a more even thickness.
If an option on your air fryer, preheat air fryer to 375 F. (If not, turn air fryer on for 2-3 minutes at 375 F prior to placing the chicken in the basket.)
In a small bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
Place chicken breasts in a clean bowl or on a plate. Pat them dry, then coat them evenly with olive oil.
Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly onto the breasts and rub in to coat evenly.
Place chicken breasts into the air fryer basket.
Air fry for a total of 22-25 minutes, flipping them at minutes 8, 16, and 20, until they are browned on both sides and have reached an internal temperature of 160 F.*
Remove from the air fryer and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
*Note: Chicken technically needs to be cooked to 165 F to be safe, but generally it will continue to cook and rise to 165 F even if removed at 160 F. Learn more here. However, if you would prefer to err on the side of caution, cook to 165 F.
