Mush-Free Roasted Brussels Sprouts
raw Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 to 1/2
freshly ground black pepper
Toss the Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place them on a baking sheet* and cook for 35 minutes at 400°F, stirring them twice.
Pro tip: Use a
silicone baking mat
on your baking sheet. They’re nonstick, approximately 5,000 percent (my estimate) easier to clean than a baking sheet alone, and you don’t have to waste parchment paper or foil. It’s easier to eat vegetables when the prep is easy! (
