Craving a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte but don’t want to break your diet? I’ve got your solution! This Keto Pumpkin Spice Latte copycat recipe is a breeze to make and gives you all the dreamy flavor of the original without all the carbs and sugar. Make yourself one every day if you’d like!

Fun fact: Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes did not have pumpkin in them from their 2003 launch until 2015. The change was made to “appease those who wanted to see real pumpkin in the list of ingredients.” This Keto Pumpkin Spice Latte does have pumpkin in it (just a little to give it an authentic pumpkin flavor!).

This delicious latte is perfect for around the holidays, especially Keto Thanksgiving. Combine this latte with our fabulous Keto Pumpkin Cookies and Keto Pumpkin Pie.

How to Make a Low Carb Pumpkin Spice Latte

This is just a quick overview of how to make keto-friendly Pumpkin Spice Latte. For the recipe in detail, scroll to the recipe card at the end of the post.

First, brew your coffee of choice. You’ll want it to be strongly brewed since you’re only using 4 oz in this recipe. You can brew with more grounds, make espresso — whatever works for you.

TIP: If you don’t like a lot of caffeine, feel free to use regular brew.

Then pour all ingredients into a blender and quickly blend until smooth.

TIP: See the next section for a keto whipped cream recipe. If you skip the whipped cream, you can still garnish your PSL with additional pumpkin pie spice if you’d like.

How to Add Keto-Friendly Whipped Cream

  • The easiest method: look for canned whipped cream at the store that emphasizes “real cream” or “natural ingredients.” I used Kroger Extra Creamy Dairy Whipped Topping with Real Cream with 1g net carbs per 2 tbsp.
  • Make your own: follow Low Carb Whipped Cream!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp 100% pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 oz strongly brewed coffee see notes
  • 2 tbsp Swerve Confectioners or more to taste
  • Optional garnish: Keto-friendly whipped cream and/or more pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and quickly blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a microwave-safe mug and microwave to your desired temperature. (I usually microwave mine for about 45 seconds.)
  • Optionally top with keto-friendly whipped cream and/or pumpkin pie spice.

Notes

  • My favorite pumpkin pie spice is by Spice Island. I also tend to use blonde coffee (Starbucks Veranda blend) and 3 tbsp Swerve in this. I like my Pumpkin Spice Latte mild on coffee flavor and sweet!
  • You'll want your coffee to be strongly brewed since you're only using 4 oz in this recipe. You can brew with more grounds, make espresso — whatever works for you. However, if you don't like a lot of caffeine, feel free to use regular brew.
